Gauteng
Gauteng (also known as ‘place of gold’) may be the smallest province but it is the economic and business centre of South Africa. Gauteng is also made up of two of the largest cities in South Africa, Johannesburg and the administrative capital, Pretoria. Gauteng is also home to large business and industrial areas such as Midrand, Vanderbijlpark, the East Rand and the West Rand.
