Northern Cape, South Africa

The vast and arid Northern Cape is the largest but most sparsely populated province in South Africa. The main industries in the province are tourism and agriculture. The Northern Cape has numerous conservation areas and national parks and is world renowned for its annual spring flowers which attract thousands of visitors each year. Other attractions are the Augrabies Falls and the southern hemisphere’s largest astronomical observatory in Sutherland.
